ROB THORNTON

SPORT

Rob has a wealth of experience across various sports - with roles including hosting fan zones, in-vision presenting, stadium PA, commentary and interviews.

Rob loves football, and has been lucky enough to be the fan zone presenter at Crystal Palace FC since 2019, which involves conducting interviews and meet & greets with sporting legends, and hosting competitions on Premier League, FA Cup and League Cup matchdays. He also hosts various events alongside the Palace for Life Foundation, as well as regularly featuring on Palace TV and being the stadium PA announcer for Under 21s and Crystal Palace Women's team matches.

Summer 2024 will see Rob once again team up with 4theFans where he will be hosting fan zones across the UK for the UEFA Euros 24 - previously hosting fan zones for the FIFA World Cup, Women's Euros and 2023 Europa Conference League Final. Working alongside footballing legends including Harry Redknapp, Sir Geoff Hurst and Tony Cottee, he has also hosted award ceremonies for Crystal Palace FC, Kent FA and R&T Tours.

Another of his favourite sports is Formula 1, so Rob was delighted to be asked to host the VIP Village enclosure at the Silverstone British Grand Prix in 2022 & 2023. Hosting interviews and analysis on the sport you love... could it get any better?!

He also works closely with Indelible (formerly London Quest) as one of their trusted event presenters - working across a variety of prestigious sporting events. Rob has hosted event villages, finish lines and commentated on events including the World Triathlon Championship Series, London Youth Games, London to Brighton Bike Ride for the British Heart Foundation and Palace to Palace for the Princes Trust.

Rob regularly announces for England Netball across multiple competitions including the NPL Playoffs, National Club Cup and National Schools Finals. He has also hosted the Six Nations screenings at BOXPARK in both 2022 & 2023, along with hosting An Evening with Frank Bruno in 2021.
